American Industrial Hygiene Association EMPAT program (Lab No. 101634) for environmental microbiological samples participant.

American Industrial Hygiene Association ELPAT program (Lab No. 101634) for wipes and paint samples. EMS is currently rated proficient for lead.

Environmental Laboratory Accreditation by the State of California Dept. of Health Services (Certificate 1119) as an environmental testing laboratory. Accredited for lead in drinking water.

AIHA Proficiency Analytical Testing (PAT) program for airborne samples using PCM, successful proficient participation since 1980. (Formerly, NIOSH PAT Program.)

All the analysts that perform PCM analysis are enrolled in the AIHA Asbestos Analysts Registry (Lab No. 101634). They have been approved by the AIHA Board of Directors in the performance rounds.

U.S. Department of Commerce, National Institute of Standards and Technology through National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program (NVLAP) accreditation for bulk asbestos by PLM (Lab Code 101218). EMS has passed every round of proficiency testing.

NVLAP accreditation for airborne asbestos fiber analysis by TEM (Lab Code 101218). EMS has passed every round of proficiency testing.

Accreditation by the State of California Department of Health Services (Certificate No. 1119) for TEM analysis of asbestos in drinking water, waste and bulk materials. Also, lead.
